We interviewed a researcher last summer and later his research was published not only in his academic circles but was also picked up by national press and Glamour magazine.

“Sharing photographs on Facebook could damage relationships”

Dr David Houghton

Sharing photographs on Facebook could damage relationships with friends, family and colleagues and the quantity and subject matter of the pictures have an impact on the level of support and intimacy within relationships. Read the report in full.

This is a great example of how promoting research on our websites can help to raise the profile of an academic researcher. The idea was to upload the academic literature up onto souncloud so interested parties could download the file and listen to research on the go, rather than read it on their computers.
