Two great opportunities to speak at university web conferences

There’s two interesting calls for speakers at the moment, offering a choice of speaking formats.

First up is the 20th year of the Institutional Web Management Workshop, the most important UK conference for our sector. The organisers have chosen Liverpool as the venue this year, 21-23 June 2016. The theme is ‘Understanding users; Managing change; Delivering services’. Their call for submissions doesn’t have a closing date, but it’s only just opened and submissions are invited for plenary talks, workshop sessions or anything else you can think of. There’s a lot more detail on the blogpost linked above.

A different opportunity is also available with the 2016 Higher Ed Content Conference. This conference is held online and speakers are restricted to a 10 minute slot. It’s a creative format and produces a high quality lineup of speakers. If you’re interested though, you’ll have to be quick, the deadline for submitting a proposal is this Wednesday, 10 February.
